J U D G M E N T

The petitioner herein was issued with a regular permit to

operate service on the route Koovappara – Kothamangalam in respect of Stage Carriage bearing No. KL 38/AD 185, subject to settlement of timings. The timing conference is not being convened, resulting in delay in issuance of varied permit. The petitioner seeks for issuance of the granted permit with tentative set of timings.

The permit having been granted, steps are to be taken for issuance of the permit without delay.

Accordingly, without expressing anything on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to convene a timing conference and settle the timings of the petitioner and have the permit issued, without delay and at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. However, the request for issuance of permit on a tentative set of timings is declined.
