JUDGMENT

The petitioner prays that he may be permitted to pay off the amount due in easy instalments. Even though the petitioner has, in the writ petition, prayed for 30 instalments, I am not inclined to grant that large a time. The writ petition is hence disposed of directing the petitioner to pay the balance amount outstanding in 15 equal monthly instalments. The petitioner shall remit a sum of Rs.75,000/towards each instalment, the first instalment falling due on or before 5.7.2022 and the balance instalments being payable on or before the 5^th of the succeeding months. After payment of 14 instalments, the petitioner shall pay the amount outstanding along with interest due till then as the last instalment. If the petitioner makes two consecutive defaults in the due instalments, the respondents shall be at liberty to proceed with the steps for recover y. Steps for recovery shall be kept in abeyance to facilitate the payment of instalments.
