The petitioner met with an accident on 25.10.2016 and the car in which the petitioner was travelling sustained damages. The petitioner therefore raised a claim before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kottayam as C.C.No.225 of 2017. During the course of evidence of that case, a dispute arose as to whether G.D entry regarding the incident was made at the Ponkunnam Police Station. The petitioner therefore submitted Ext.P1 application before the 3^rd respondent seeking issuance of a certified copy of the GD entry. The 3^rd respondent having failed to act on Ext.P1, this writ petition is filed.

Heard, learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
