The writ petition is filed seeking expeditious disposal of C.C No. 108/2016, pending before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Thiruvananthapuram.

In the report called for by this Court regarding the present status of the C.C No.108 of 2016, it is stated as under:-

“Adv. Biju was appointed as the advocate Commissioner for recording the evidence of the Complainant. A direction was also given to the Advocate Commissioner to record evidence expeditiously. The case is stands posted for the report of the Commissioner.

It is submitted that the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission is now targeting the matters up to 2016 for speedy disposal. The State Commission requires three months time for the final disposal of the above case.”

The statement that the Commission requires three months for disposal of the case is recorded and the Commission is requested to take earnest efforts in that regard.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
