The said order was passed in the presence of the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents. Subsequently, a statement has been filed by the first respondent. I have carefully gone through the said statement. It is stated therein that the last date for issuance of tender forms was 21.01.2014 and therefore, tender forms could not have been issued to the petitioner. At the same time, it is to be noted that in the order dated 17.1.2014 this Court specifically directed the respondents, taking note of the contentions raised in the writ petition, to issue tender forms to the petitioner in case he is eligible to seek the same. There is no case for the respondent in the statement that the petitioner had not approached the respondents seeking issuance of the tender forms and it was denied to him as he was ineligible to seek the issuance of tender forms. It is evident from the statement that subsequently the respondents have opened the sealed tenders and steps are being taken for awarding the works bearing project works No.499/2013-14 "Construction of H.I. Office in Sasthamangalam Ward" and Project No.-T351/2013-14, Construction of N.S.Deppot Market, Vallakkadavu Ward". In view of the facts obtained, there will be an interim order not to award the works of project No.499/2013-14 "Construction of H.I. Office in Sasthamangalam Ward" and Project No.-T351/2013-14, Construction of N.S.Deppot Market, Vallakkadavu Ward" without obtaining further orders from this Court.
