The petitioner’s father V.K. Unnikrishnan died on 11.07.2018, while working as Sanitation Worker in the 4^th respondent Corporation. The petitioner along with his mother and elder sister, who are the only legal heirs of late V.K. Unnikrishnan, submitted Ext.P9 request seeking compassionate appointment for the petitioner. As the request was not submitted in the prescribed form, the petitioner was asked to submit a proper application afresh. Accordingly, the petitioner submitted Ext.P11 application along with requisite documents. This writ petition is filed, aggrieved by the delay in consideration of Ext.P11 application.

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader and the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 and 5.

Considering the limited relief sought, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4^th respondent to consider Ext.P11 application and to take appropriate
