The petitioner, a paper lottery agent, has mooted the idea
of selling lotteries online. According to the petitioner, neither the pandemic nor lockdown will have any impact if lotteries are sold online. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the idea, if implemented, will be of great relief to lottery agents like the petitioner.
Considering the limited relief sought, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to take up Ext.P1 and arrive at a decision on the request made therein, if the representation is received and pending.
