This writ petition is filed, aggrieved by the noninclusion of the petitioner as a contestant in the Mahatma Gandhi University Youth Festival, 2022 for the item ‘Folk Dance’. On 01.04.2022, this Court passed an interim order directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to provisionally contest in the Youth Festival.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that on the strength of the interim order, the petitioner participated in the ‘Folk Dance’ competition and secured first prize. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is closed, directing the first respondent to issue the certificate in acknowledgment of the petitioner’s performance.
