This contempt petition is filed basically complaining that the directives contained in the judgment in W.P.(C) No.26770 of 2018 dated 20^th September, 2018, are not complied with.

However, today, when the matter was taken up, an order passed by the Lakshadweep administration dated 14.2.2022 is produced before me and learned counsel for petitioner submitted that already the directions in the judgment are complied with.

Therefore, I do not find any reason to pursue the contempt any further. Contempt petition is closed accordingly, leaving open the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the order, if advised so.
