JUDGMENT

The petitioners have filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus commanding respondents 2 to 4 to effect mutation of 7.48 Ares of property in Re-Survey No.401/1 of Ranny Taluk, Ranny Village, Pathanmthitta District, covered by Ext.P1 partition deed bearing Registration No.611/18 dated 19.04.2018 of the Sub Registrar Office, Ranny in the joint name of the petitioners; and also a writ of mandamus commanding the 4 th respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exhibit P4 application submitted by the petitioners for mutation of the said property, within a time limit to be specified by this Court.

On 12.02.2021, when this writ petition came up for admission, the learned Government Pleader sought time to get instructions.

On 02.03.2021, the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that mutation of the property in question has already been made in favour of the petitioners on 29.01.2021. The learned counsel for the petitioners sought time to get instructions.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 4^th respondent.

Since the mutation of the property in question, based on Ext.P4 application made by the petitioners, has already been effected on 29.01.2021, as stated by the learned Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of recording the said fact.
