JUDGMENT

The petitioner is an employee of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation having joined the service in 1990. She was placed under suspension pending enquiry by Ext.P1, dated 21.03.2019. Subsequently, her period of suspension was extended from time to time. Petitioner was ordered to be reinstated pending enquiry by Ext.P4 judgment. Subsequently, by Ext.P5 order dated 26.10.2019, the suspension order was withdrawn and the petitioner was directed to continue in service, retaining the disciplinary proceedings. It seems that the enquiry proceedings did not pursue thereafter. The petitioner has approached this Court contending that Ext.P10 representation was submitted by her on 16.12.2020 requesting to pass appropriate orders regularising her period of suspension from 21.03.2019 to 29.10.2020 on which day she resumed her duty. The petitioner laments that no further action has taken thereon.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the respondents and also the learned Government Pleader, I am inclined to direct the 2^nd respondent to pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate,

within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, on Ext.P10 representation, after giving a reasonable opportunity of being heard to the petitioner, either physically or online.
