The petitioner, who is owner of 7.29 Ares of land in Survey No.20 of Eloor Village, North Paravur Taluk, has approached this Court seeking to quash Ext.P8 and direct the 1^st respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P2 application as expeditiously as possible.

When this writ petition came up today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed Form-6 application invoking Rule 12(1) of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008. Subsequently, the Government issued Ext.P9 Government Order dated 25.02.2021 granting some exemption in remittance of fees for lands to an extent of 25 cents. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to the authorities to

consider Ext.P7 application in the light of Ext.P9 Government Order.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of

directing the 2^nd respondent to consider Ext.P7 application submitted by the petitioner in the light of Ext.P9 and other Government Orders and Circulars relevant to the case. A decision shall be taken in the matter within a period of two months.
