J U D G M E N T

Petitioner completed two year Diploma Course in Cardio Vascular Technology (DCVT) which is approved by the Government. The said qualification, however, is not prescribed as a qualification for appointment to the post of ECG Technician or other similar posts in terms of the Kerala Public Health Subordinate Service Special Rules, 2017. The petitioner, in the circumstances, preferred Ext.P4 representation before the first respondent seeking appropriate orders to prescribe the said qualification as an essential qualification for appointment to the post of ECG Technician and other similar posts falling under the Kerala Public Health Subordinate Service Special Rules, 2017. It is alleged by the petitioner that Ext.P4 is not being considered by the first respondent. The petitioner, therefore, seeks appropriate directions in this regard in the writ petition.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the competent authority of the first respondent to consider and take a decision on Ext.P4 representation with notice to the petitioner within three months. Ordered accordingly.
