The petitioners were joint owners in possession of 2.02

Ares of property in Survey No.319/12-6 and 2.83 Ares of property in Survey No.319/12-7 in Tandaper No.9503 of Maneed Village, covered by Ext.P1 settlement deed and Ext.P1(a) tax receipt dated 04.05.2020, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 3^rd respondent to effect mutation of the property described in Exhibit P2, in favour of the 1^st and 2^nd petitioners. The petitioners have also sought for a direction to the 3^rd respondent to accept property tax in favour of 1^st and 2^nd petitioners.

On 27.01.2021, when this writ petition came up for admission the learned Government Pleader was directed to get instructions.

On 11.02.2021, when this writ petition came up for consideration the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that after effecting mutation, land tax has already been collected in the name of petitioners 1 and 2 on 12.01.2021.

Today, when the case is taken up for consideration it is

submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners the 2^nd respondent Tahsildar has already effected mutation of the property in question and the 3^rd respondent Village Officer has accepted land tax, as sought for in this writ petition.
