First petitioner is the holder of a regular permit.

Ext.P2 application is submitted by the petitioners seeking transfer of permit to the name of the second petitioner. The petitioners seek for an expeditious consideration of the application.

Without expressing anything on merits, the writ

petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application as expeditiously as possible and preferably in its next meeting. If consideration of the application in the next meeting is impracticable, it will be open to have the application considered by circulation in terms

of Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicles Rules.
