JUDGMENT

The name of the petitioner was Mintu K. Sojan. In the year 2016, the petitioner changed his name as Rayan Sojan by causing appropriate publication in the official gazette. Thereupon, he has applied for appropriate correction of the entry in his Secondary School Leaving Certificate, and the said application was rejected by the competent authority as per Ext.P10 order, on the ground that there is no provision for making the correction sought. Ext.P10 is under challenge in the writ petition.

It is seen that an identical case has been disposed of by this Court in terms of Ext.P11 judgment.

In the light of Ext.P11 judgment, Ext.P10 order is set aside and the second respondent is directed to carry out the correction sought by the petitioner. This shall be done within six weeks. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
