J U D G M E N T

The grievance voiced by the petitioner in the writ petition concerns the delay on the part of the Kerala Water Authority in disbursing the amounts covered by Exts.P3(a) and P4(a) part bills raised by the petitioner in respect of a work entrusted to him.

The learned Standing Counsel for the Kerala Water Authority submits, on instructions, that the amounts covered by Ext.P3(a) will be disbursed to the petitioner within two weeks and the amounts covered by Ext.P4(a) will be disbursed within three months.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I record the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the Water Authority in relation to the amounts covered by Exts.P3(a), and direct the respondents to disburse the amounts covered by Ext.P4(a), within two months. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
