While considering DBP No.33/2019, it has come to our notice that some applicants for appointment on compassionate grounds are appointed under the Travancore Devaswom Board in different Devaswoms and such appointments are made without due regard to the availability of vacancies in the quota fixed for compassionate appointment. It is also revealed that such appointments are effected not on regular basis, but only on a temporary basis.
In the said circumstances, the Registry shall register a suo moto case in respect of the said matter and upon registration the matter shall be sent post before the Bench for consideration on 19.05.2021.
