The petitioner is a lady doctor. On completion of her medical course in China, she returned to India. The petitioner approached this Court for police protection. She submits that she is being threatened by the 5^th respondent as she refused to marry him. She refers to Ext.P1 whatsapp message showing that there is a threat to her life.

In this matter, the 5^th respondent appeared through counsel.

The learned counsel submits that there is no threat caused to the petitioner. However, it is submitted that the petitioner extracted

money from him for the purpose of studies in China.

¶26

If there is threat to the life of the petitioner, police shall provide necessary protection to the petitioner. The 5^th respondent shall not obstruct the petitioner and cause any harassment to her either through telephone or otherwise. The police shall keep a vigilant eye on the movement of the 5^th respondent.

The writ petitioner is disposed of as above.
