JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who is stated to be the owner of property in Re-Survey Nos.46/1, 46/2 and 46/3 of Iringol Village of Koyilandy Taluk covered by Document Nos.2105/90 and 2106/90, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P12 stop memo dated 21.03.2013 issued by the 1st respondent. The petitioner has also sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the 3rd respondent to renew Ext.P9 mining permit.
Today, when this writ petition is taken up for consideration, it

is submitted by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is no more and that the validity of Ext.P9 quarrying permit has already expired on 08.04.2013.
In such circumstances, recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as abated.
