JUDGMENT

The petitioner states that being aggrieved by the election to the managing committee of the Mathra Service Co-operative Bank Ltd., the 1st respondent herein, he has preferred an arbitration reference before the Cooperative Arbitration Court and the same is pending on its files as ARC No. 60 of 2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that the matter is being dragged on with no end in sight. The defendants in the said case have not even filed their written statements. It is in the afore circumstances that he has approached this Court seeking directions to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the case within a time frame.

I have heard Sri. A.N.Santhosh, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri. Bimal K. Nath, the learned senior Government Pleader.

In view of the relief that I propose to pass, notice to the party respondents are dispensed with.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions made across the Bar, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Cooperative Arbitration Court, Thiruvananthapuram to expedite the proceedings in
