The petitioners are land allottees running industrial units in the Karakkad Industrial Estate in Shornur, Palakkad District. They are before this Court seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2^nd respondent-Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation Ltd. (SIDCO) to execute Sale Deeds in favour of the petitioners.

The Standing Counsel to the 2^nd respondent submitted that out of the 11 petitioners, the NOC in respect of 3^rd petitioner's claim has already been received and the Estate Officer has already been authorised to execute Sale Deed. As regards the 4^th petitioner, a case was pending in the matter and judgment has been produced now. In the circumstances, the 2^nd respondent is directed to apply for NOC in respect of the 4^th petitioner's claim and as soon as the NOC is received, 2^nd petitioner shall take expeditious steps to execute Sale Deed.

As regards, the petitioner 1, 2 and 5 to 11, the 2^nd respondent submits that applications for issuance of NOC, is

pending with the District Collector. The 2^nd respondent shall take expeditious steps to obtain NOC from the District Collector and shall execute the Sale Deeds within one month from the date of receipt of NOC, subject to petitioners complying with all other requirements.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
