JUDGMENT

The petitioner states she had retired from the services of the respondent Bank after rendering 34 years of service. She states that instead of a sum of Rs.16,24,666/- which is entitled towards gratuity, what was paid is Rs.10 lakhs. Raising her grievance, she has submitted Ext.P4 representation followed with Ext.P5 reminder. The limited request of the petitioner is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P5 in the light of Ext.P3 order passed by the 5th respondent and take appropriate decision.

Heard the learned Government Pleader. In view of the limited nature

of the relief sought for by the petitioner, the notice to the party respondents are dispensed with.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions made across the Bar, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to take up Exhibit-P5 and take appropriate decision, with notice to the petitioner and in the light of Exhibit P3 order, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition along with the judgment before the 1st respondent to ensure compliance.
