JUDGMENT

The petitioners, who retired from CAPF service and staying at Kannur, are aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents on their representations for collecting their quota of liquor and to distribute the same at Kannur. It is stated that as at present facility is available only at Thiruvananthapuram; whereas it is possible for the respondents to provide the facility at Peringome CRPF Camp. It is stated that they have been making requests in Exts.P2, P3, P4, P5 etc. from 2019 onwards submitting representations before the State Welfare Officer as well as the respective DIGP and no action is taken so far.

Therefore, there shall be a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider Ext.P5 representation and to take appropriate action within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
