JUDGMENT

The petitioner states that she is running a Heritage (Basic) Classified Hotel in the name and style as Silver Residency Heritage at Thrissur. She submitted an application for issuance of FL-3 licence under Rule 13(3) of the Foreign Liquor Rules. Her prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 application within a time frame.

I have heard Sri. M.G.Karthikeyan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions made across the Bar, this writ petition is disposed of directing the competent among the respondents to take up Exhibit-P3 and pass appropriate orders with notice to the petitioner. Orders shall be passed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.

The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition along with

the judgment before the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to ensure compliance.
