The instant writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:-

“(i) issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ or order or direction calling for the records leading to Exhibit P3 order and quash the same;

¶25

(ii) issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ or order or direction calling for the records leading to Exhibit P1 complaint and Exhibit P2 interlocutory application and quash the same;

¶26

(iii) declare that the Kerala Lok Ayukta is not having any power to entertain any matters with regard to the process of admission to colleges and the eligibility for the same.”

Earlier, by order dated 08.10.2020, we directed the Controller

of Examinations, University of Kerala, to forward the confidential mark list to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram, the petitioner herein, so as to enable the later, to communicate the results of the supplementary examination to the Principal of the concerned Law College, for approving the selection

and allotment already made.

On this day, when the matter came up for further hearing, Mr. V. Manu, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram, the petitioner, submitted that pursuant to the directions in the order dated 8^th October 2020, authenticated confidential mark list, was received by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram and accordingly, the Principal of the concerned Law College has been informed.

Learned Senior Government Pleader further submitted that if the 1^st respondent has not joined the college, he may do so and the Principal of the concerned Law College, may have to admit the student. He also submitted that respondent No. 1 is qualified for admission to the 1^st year LL.B. course.

Placing on record the above submission that Principal of the concerned Law College may admit the student to the 1^st year LL.B. course, writ petition is disposed of.

Question as to whether the Kerala Lok Ayukta has jurisdiction to
