Dated this the 3rd day of December 2020
By this writ petition, the petitioner is praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders revising the provident fund widow pension of the petitioner with an averment that the petitioner had preferred an application for rectification of date of birth which has resulted in cancellation of her Pension Payment Order. Ext.P3 is a communication issued on 21.05.2020 by the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner which states that there was some mistake on the part of the ex-employer of the petitioner's husband and that on rectification of error by the ex-employer, arrears of pension shall be released.
