petitioner college. On receipt of that letter dated 03.09.2019, the Principal of the college submitted a reply dated 05.09.2019 furnishing the list of five affiliated hospitals, namely, Government Hospital, Alappuzha; Taluk Head Quarters Hospital, Cherthala; Women and Children Hospital, Alappuzha and two private hospitals, namely, Lakeshore Hospital, Nettor and St. Rita's Hospital, Thankey, Alappuzha. On verification of the documents, the University found that the permission in respect of two private hospitals, namely, Lakeshore Hospital, Nettor and St. Rita's Hospital, Thankey, Alappuzha, were not based on legally executed Memorandum of Understanding, for the academic year 2019-20, as required by the University. Vide letter dated 25.09.2019, the Principal of the college was required to submit those documents. However, the college failed to submit the required Memorandum of Understanding with the affiliated hospitals. Therefore, the University issued communication dated 28.09.2020, whereby the petitioner college was informed that Lakeshore Hospital, Nettor and St. Rita's Hospital, Thankey cannot be considered as affiliated hospitals, and no further time will be granted to submit legally valid Memorandum of Understanding, in order to prove that those hospitals are affiliated hospitals.
