This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayers:

¶26

“i) To command the 3^rd respondent by issuing a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing to pay the arrears of the remuneration of the petitioners from December 2014 to this day together with interest immediately.

ii) To direct respondents to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 and Ext.P2 representation in a time bounded manner.

iii) To direct the 3^rd respondent to credit the future bills/payments in time as cash.”

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the

learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the

¶32

petitioners have carried out the work entrusted to them and had also preferred representation showing the details of the Bank

¶33

accounts to which the payments are to be made.

In the above view of the matter, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that Exts.P1 and P2 representations preferred before the Vice Chancellor shall be looked into and appropriate steps shall be taken to see that the amounts due are disbursed to the petitioners without delay.

Accordingly there will be direction to the 1^st respondent to take up Exts.P1 and P2 representations preferred by the petitioners and to take appropriate steps to see that the amounts found due are released to the petitioners. Appropriate orders shall be passed within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
