The petitioner is the mother of respondents 4 and 5. She has approached this Court seeking directions to the respondents I to 3 to afford police protection to the life and property of the petitioner and to enable her to possess and enjoy her propefty situated within the limits of Chengamanad Village.

When this matter had come up for hearing on 9.10.2020, on the basis of submissions advanced by both sides, the matter was refened to the Kerala High Couft Mediation Centre to resolve the disputes inter se by recourse to mediation.

It appears that the parties were able to resolve the entire disputes and come to an understanding. A compromise has been recorded and the compromise deed signed by both parties and their counsels are produced bebre this Coutt. Both sides submit that the matter can be disposed of in terms of the compromise.

In view of the above turn of events, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the compromise entered into between the parties. The parties shall abide by the terms of the compromise which shall form part of the record.
