Petitioner and 12 others are in joint possession and enjoyment of 372.6461 Ares of property situate in Sy.Nos.2/18, 2/19, 2/20, 2/17, 2/47, 2/77 and 2/78 of Raroth Village, Thamarassery Taluk, Kozhikode District. Petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 application

seeking grant of quarrying lease before the 3^rd respondent and Ext.P4 application before the 4^th

respondent seeking grant of quarrying permit. The sole relief sought for is, consideration of the said applications in a time bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for petitioner

and learned Special Government Pleader, there will be a direction to the 3^rd respondent to attain finality to Ext.P3 at the earliest possible time and at any rate within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the petitioner is producing necessary orders in terms of Ext.P3 application, Ext.P4 shall be considered by the 4^th respondent in accordance with law and attain finality at the

earliest possible time and at any rate within a month from the date of production of necessary orders.
