The grievance highlighted by the petitioner in this writ petition is, in respect of inaction on the part of the 2^nd respondent in verifying the community certificate filed by the petitioner under Section 11 of the Kerala (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates, Act, 1996 read with sub rule 1 of Rule 8 of the Rules, 2002. The sole relief sought for by the petitioner is direction for consideration of Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioner before the scrutiny committee, the 2^nd respondent.

I have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Special Government Pleader and perused the pleadings and documents on record.

Learned Special Government Pleader pointed out that pursuant to Ext.P2 application KIRTADS conducted an enquiry and submitted a report before the 2^nd respondent.

In that view of the matter, and taking into account the attendant circumstances as pointed out by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2^nd respondent to

consider Ext.P2 application along with the report submitted by the scrutiny committee, at the earliest possible time.
