The petitioner, who is an applicant for

temporary permit on the route Vadakara-PerambraKuttiadi, in the defaulted vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-13/M-3552, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Vadakara, to consider Ext.P2 application dated 29.12.2018 made for re-issue of substitute temporary permit in the said route.
