This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to sanction and disburse the pension and other terminal benefits due

to the petitioner.

It is stated that the petitioner who worked as a Music Teacher in an aided school had retired from service on 30.06.2012. The contention was that terminal benefits were not disbursed even after nearly a year.

A counter affidavit has been placed on record on behalf of the second respondent. It is stated therein that the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner had been sanctioned by order dated 17.04.2013 and it was forwarded to the first respondent for authorisation. It is stated that upon receipt of necessary orders from the first respondent, all pensionary benefits will be disbursed. It is stated that the delay had occurred only due to the lapse on the

part of the petitioner in not refunding the excess salary drawn by her.

In the above view of the matter, it is presumed that the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner have already been disbursed. Nothing survives to be considered in this writ petition. Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
