JUDGMENT

The prayer in this Writ Petition(Civil) are as follows:

“ i. A Writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondent to consider application and Ext.P-2 report in accordance with law within a time frame.

ii. Any other appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit on the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Heard Sri.R.K. Muralidharan, learned counsel appearing for

the petitioner and Sri.Saigi Jacob Palatty, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

It is now submitted by Sri.R.K.Muralidharan, the learned counsel for the petitioner on the basis of the instructions of his party, that pursuant to Ext.P-2 report, the request of the petitioner for grant of purchase certificate has now been registered as Suo motu proceedings as SM.No.2544/2018 on the file of the Land Tribunal, Tirur as evident from Ext.P-3.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances disclosed in this petition, it is ordered that the respondent Land Tribunal concerned will take all reasonable endeavors possible under the circumstances to ensure early consideration and disposal of Suo motu proceedings, SM.No. 2544/2018, without much delay and after giving reasonable opportunity of being heard to the petitioner, preferably within a period of 18 months from the date of completion of service of notice on all the affected parties. The petitioner will produce a certified copy of this judgment before the Land Tribunal concerned for necessary information and action.

With these observations and directions, the above Writ Petition(Civil) stands finally disposed of.
