After hearing the matter for sometime, we
were not inclined to exercise our extra-ordinary power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to grant a police protection to the petitioner. The learned Counsel for the petitioner then sought for withdrawal of the writ petition.
Permission granted and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.
