JUDGMENT
The petitioner is the registered owner of an autorickshaw bearing registration No.KL-63/F-3514, covered by Ext.P1 certificate of registration and Ext.P3 contract carriage permit, whereby he is permitted to ply his vehicle in all fit roads in Ernakulam District except those prohibited by any law in force. He is also permitted to operate up to 20km from the boarders, with parking place of Nedumbassery Village. The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 2nd respondent to issue bonnet number in favour of the petitioner; and a writ of mandamus commanding the 3rd respondent to give necessary protection for the peaceful enjoyment and free ingress and egress/parking of the petitioner's autorickshaw bearing registration No.KL-63/F-3514 at Nedumbassery Village N.G.P. 3 auto stand.
