The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1406/2018 registered at the Malayinkeezhu Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District for offences punishable under Sections 451, 354, 511 and 376 of IPC. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein are the de facto complainants. This Crl.M.C. is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1406/2018 on the file of the Malayinkeezhu Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District, on the ground that the issue leading to the registration of the crime has been amicably settled between the petitioner and respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for respondents 2 and 3 and the learned Public Prosecutor.

Having perused the affidavits filed by respondents 2 and 3, the contents of which is submitted to be true and voluntary by the learned counsel for respondents 2 and 3, I am satisfied that the matter has been amicably settled and that no public interest is involved in this matter. Hence, there is no
