JUDGMENT
The petitioner purchased a piece of immovable property on 19.05.2014. When the petitioner applied for an encumbrance certificate, she came to know that the land she purchased was attached on 10.06.2011 for the tax arrears of her Vendor's Vendor. Later, she has also come to know that the recovery proceedings have ended and the attachment lost its relevance. Yet the authorities have not removed the reference to attachment from the revenue records. Aggrieved, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
I, therefore, dispose of the writ petition, recording the fact that
the attachment over the petitioner's property already stands lifted.
