Petitioner, a Diploma Holder, who is working as

Overseer in KSEB, claims promotion, pointing out that several of his juniors have been granted promotion as per Ext.P8 order on 16.11.2017.

Learned Standing Counsel points out that

petitioner's juniors, who were promoted, are Certificate Holders and Diploma Holders became eligible for promotion only after the Rules were amended on 30.03.2017.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied with a direction to the 3^rd respondent to consider Ext.P10 representation.

In view of the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3^rd respondent

to consider and pass orders on Ext.P10
