J U D G M E N T
The petitioner, who is the registered owner of a stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-08/AJ-2388, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P8 order of the 2nd respondent dated 4.11.2017 and seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the 1st respondent to grant regular permit to his stage carriage bearing registration No.KL08/AJ-2388 on the route North Parur-Vytila Hub. The petitioner has also filed I.A.No.1268/2018 seeking an order directing the 2nd respondent to issue the regular permit on the route North Parur-Vytila Hub in respect of a later model vehicle bearing registration No.KL-10/AK-6070 (2012 model), forthwith.
W.P(C) No.36333 of 2017 :2:
submit that the petitioner does not want to prosecute this writ petition further, in so far as it relates to Ext.P8 order of the 2nd respondent, and that the writ petition may be withdrawn, without prejudice to the right to pursue the relief sought for in I.A.No.1268/2018 in appropriate proceedings.
In such circumstances, recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn reserving the right, if any, of the petitioner to pursue the relief sought for in I.A.No.1268/2018 in appropriate proceedings.
