The prayers in W.P.(C).No. 26412 of 2018 are as follows:-

“ I. Issue of Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ in the like nature direction or order commanding the Respondent to conduct expeditious enquiry and dispose proceedings numbered as S.M.No.225/2012 on the files of the respondent within a time limit that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court;

ii. Pass such other orders deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and that may be prayed hereafter.”

The prayers in W.P.(C).No. 26433 of 2018 are as follows:-

“i. Issue of Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ in the like nature direction or order commanding the Respondent to conduct expeditious enquiry and dispose proceedings numbered as S.M.No. 1885/2017 on the files of the respondent within a time limit that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court;

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, it is ordered, in the interest of justice, that the Land Tribunal Palakkad will take all reasonable measures to ensure the early consideration and disposal of the suo moto proceedings, S.M.No. 225/2012 without much delay, preferably within a period of 6-8 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment.

Further it is also ordered in the interest of justice that the Land Tribunal, Ottappalam will take reasonable measures to ensure the early consideration and disposal of the suo moto proceedings, S.M.No. 1885/17 without much delay preferably within a period of 12 months from the date of completion of service of notice to all the affected parties concerned with that case.

The respective petitioners will produce the certified copies of judgment before the Land Tribunal concerned for necessary information and further action.

With these observations and directions, the above Writ Petition (Civil) will stand finally disposed of.
