This Court passed an interim order on 17/8/2018 directing the Vice Chancellor to take a decision on granting additional affiliation to the petitioner within two days from the date of receipt of that order. Thereafter, by another interim order, dated 29/8/2018, this Court directed the University to grant the petitioner provisional affiliation for M.Com (Finance) course within one week from the date of receipt of the order with a further direction to the petitioner that, based on such affiliation, the petitioner is free to admit students in accordance with law. It is to be noted that in Exhibit P3 itself the Syndicate had recommended for granting affiliation to the petitioner for the academic year 2016-17. In Exhibit P10 also the Syndicate have recommended for this academic year. It appears that the University seeks concurrence of the Government and it is on account of want of concurrence from the Government, the University is not able to issue orders of affiliation. The last date for closure of admission to the course is today, i.e. 17/9/2018. In such circumstances, it is appropriate extend the time of admission to 30/9/2018. Ordered accordingly. In the light of the earlier orders, there shall be a direction to the Vice Chancellor of the University to issue an order of provisional affiliation to the petitioner forthwith and also permit the petitioner to admit
