JUDGMENT

The petitioner claims that she had attended the interview for appointment to the post of “Pathram Theppu” on 27.7.2011. According to her, she was included in the rank list prepared thereafter as rank no.5. The petitioner filed this writ petition when the respondents board had issued Ext.P2 notification in connection with the appointment of Watcher, Part Time Thali, Part Time Kazhakam etc.

2. The learned standing Counsel submits that Ext.P2 notification was issued on the basis of

direction from this Court in W.A.No.1011 of 2016 and connected cases relating to the appointment of Watcher, Kazhakam etc., when several persons were denied appointment in accordance with the merit in the rank list. The petitioner has not produced any materials to show that she was included as rank no.5.

3. At any rate the petitioner is free to approach

the Commissioner of the Devaswom with appropriate representation. In case the petitioner submits such a representation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment along with a certified copy of the judgment, the Commissioner of the Devaswom shall consider the same and pass orders on the same and communicate the order to the petitioner within a further period of one month.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
