The petitioner, who had joined the 1^st respondent College for three year B.Com Degree course in June 2017, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to return her original 10^th and Higher Secondary certificates and also the transfer certificate, so as to enable her to continue her education elsewhere.

On 05.04.2018, when this writ petition came up for

admission, this Court issued urgent notice on admission by special messenger to the 1^st respondent. The learned Standing Counsel for the University took notice for the 2^nd respondent and sought time to get instructions.

Today, when this writ petition is taken up for further consideration, the learned counsel for the 1^st respondent College would submit that, if the petitioner appears before

the Principal of the College, the original certificates referred to in Ext.P2 application shall be handed over to her forthwith. The said submission is recorded.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit

that the petitioner shall appear before the Principal of the 1^st respondent College and collect the original certificates within two days.

In such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the submission made by the learned counsel for the 1^st respondent College that, on the petitioner appearing before the Principal of the College, the original certificates shall be returned to her forthwith.
