Petitioners are some of the accused in C.C.No.333 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class-III, Attingal. It was originally taken on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class-I, Attingal as C.C.No.1074 of 2011. The petitioners are aggrieved that there has been much delay in the disposal of the case. Their prayer is to direct the trial court to dispose it of without further delay. After hearing both sides I am satisfied that the prayer is only to be allowed.

In the result, this Crl.M.C is allowed. The trial court is directed to dispose of the case within six months from the date of receipt or production of a copy of this order, whichever is earlier.
