The petitioners herein are the accused in Crime No.660 of 2014 of Guruvayoor Police Station, Thrissur for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 417, 418, 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the prosecution, the 1^st accused, with the intention to cheat the defacto complainant, promised to give a fully furnished villa. Thereafter, without allotting the villa and misappropriating the amount, the defacto complainant committed the offences. Crime was registered. Petitioners, who are the son and the wife of the 1^st accused, seeks bail apprehending arrest.

2. It seems that the main allegations are

attributed to the 1^st accused. He is stated to have been arrested and was released. In an identical matter in Crime No.775 of 2012 of Guruvayoor Police Station, the petitioners were granted bail by order in BA No.6640 of 2018. The petitioners

stand on the same footing as that of the other case.

Hence I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioners on the following conditions:

(i) Petitioners shall appear before the

investigation officer within ten days from today and shall undergo interrogation. Thereafter, if they are proposed to be arrested, they shall be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) each with two sureties for the like sum each.
