JUDGMENT
Petitioner has obtained license No.1292/KNR dated 31.7.2011 under the provisions of the Arms Act, 1959. Petitioner sought renewal of the said license, which was declined as per Ext.P7 order dated 19.1.2015. Aggrieved, petitioner has preferred an appeal before the appellate authority constituted under the Act. Ext.P9 reveals that the appeal was received by the appellate authority and the same is pending consideration before the said authority on and with effect from 12.5.2015. Therefore, it is only appropriate that a direction is issued to the appellate authority to take a decision on the appeal submitted by the petitioner pertaining to Ext.P9 communication.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
