5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Crime was registered as early as in the month of April, 2017 and that investigation has proceeded much. The learned Public Prosecutor, on the other hand, pointed out that grave injuries were inflicted upon the victim and the accused have been evading from the investigation since then. He has also handed over the Case Diary for perusal. The wound certificate reveals that the injured had sustained multiple head injuries which are serious in nature.
