J U D G M E N T

The above writ petition was filed in the year 2009

and it is seen to ventilate a public interest. The petitioner, the Convenor of the Panchayat Road Protection Forum called “Thekkilakkadu Palakkayil Road Samrakshana Samithi, Velloor”, contends that a Panchayat road situated in Ward No.10 and entered as Sl.No.100 in the Panchayat Road Register, is being encroached upon by various persons, who are residing adjacent to the road. None of the adjacent land owners are impleaded herein. The writ petition is filed seeking issuance of proper proceedings against such land owners. The writ petition is also not admitted till now.

Considering the overall circumstance, this Court is

of the opinion that nothing survives in the writ petition

and the same is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
